orchard road is 6 lanes right ?

Average 4 meter each car + 1 meter gap between

5m x 8 cars = 40meters ++, almost 1/2 of a 100meter tracks.

Have u ppl decided the place to eat? A few suggestions: railway mall there(a row of makan places),coldbar(tink shld have open), that prata shop(the 1 at dnt noe upper or lower pierce resviror),the small hawker opposite Spore discovery ctr,the hawker opposite Sentosa Habourfront ctr(beside the bus interchange) OR if nt we all can drive back to Kallang Mc for brkfast..... Organiser or rather the 'head of the snake' chose a place n the rest will follow(cant satify all so jus do ur best)

Meeting Date & Time: 21 Jan 2007(Sun) @ 6:15AM (Move off at 630AM)
Meeting Place: Kallang Mac
Breakfast Place: Prata Cafe at Casuarina or picnic at lower pierce reservoir

1. We will meet at 6:15AM @ Kallang Mac and move off at 6:30AM sharp(no waiting). Those who are late will have to join the convoy half way. Give me a call and i will tell you our location.

2. The route for this morning drive is Kallang Mac -> ECP -> TPE -> Exit Punggol to Punggol Jetty for Sunrise -> TPE -> SLE -> Exit Mandai -> Mandai Road -> Upper Thomson Road -> Old Upper Thomson Road for monkey show -> Prata Cafe at Casuarina or picnic at lower pierce reservoir

3. I left the breakfast place open, cos some might find prata a bit boring. Pls vote ur preference, the poll is on top of the thread. If most prefer picnic, I will then prefer food, its either Nasi Lemak at Sembawang Road which is quite famous or Sandwich/Porridge which will be prepared by me..(I say first ah...good or no good also cannot complain.. haha). If picnic is confirmed, may be we can bring frisbee or balls if u have any (i am talking about volleyball, football etc)

4. Those who have a pair of Walkie Talkies and don't mind sharing with those who don't have, please bring along your spare set...ya

5. Those who are going direct to the breakfast place, we should be there around 830AM. There is an open air carpark next to the prata shop and it can park up to 30 cars and also a row of parallel parking lots nearby.

6. I want to stress out again, no fast and furious driving and no overtaking. All cars will maintain in 1 or 2 lanes. When comes to traffic lights, if convoy breaks, we will slow down and wait for the rest to come. We can use walkie talkie to communicate, no worries.

8. For those who needs morning call, pls PM me. I will give morning call at 5:30AM, if anyone thinks that its either too early or too late, PM me your prefered timing.

9. The drive will still proceed, even if it rains.

10. I will update again who will be the convoy leader and the sweeper.
