BMW-SG Pool Competition - Sept 2006

Hi Guys & Gals

I am organising a 8-balls pool competition next month. I am looking at 32 participants and minimum age requirement is 21 years old. Each participant will pay a fee of $20.

Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 positions. The amount depend on the total amount of participation fees collected from the participants minus out the pool table rental fees.

If 32 players are achieved, the prize money will be something as follow:
1st: 55% cash
2nd: 30% cash
3rd: 15% cash

The Game format:
First Round: 32 group into 16, winners proceed Second Round (Race to 3)
Second Round: 16 group into 8, winners proceed Quarter Finals (Race to 3)
Quarter Finals: 8 group into 4, winners proceed Semi Finals (Race to 3)
Semi Finals: 4 group into 2, winners proceed Finals (Race to 5)
Finals: Top 2 players (Race to 5), 3rd and 4th players (Race to 5)

The First, Second round and QF will be played at MS SuperBowl or some pool parlours on a Wednesday. SF and Finals will be played at a pub on a Friday. For those who don't play, can go cheer others and drink.

Closing Date of Registration: 1st Sept 2006
Competition Date: 20th Sept (Wed) / 22nd Sept (Fri)
Participant Fee: $20

FYI, 2nd floor of Depot Heights Shopping Centre has a new pool place that's quite big, but unpopulated, in case you're looking for an empty pool place.
