Hi guys,

anybody did engine bonnet insulation for your BMW ride?

anyone knows where to get this done?

i got the oem from eng soon. 120 bucks. direct fit.

you mean a 'carpet' like piece mounted under our front engine hood, right? i remember got mine less than 100bucks from PML when I collected my ride back then in 07'

To be honest, I did not find that it insulates noise any better than it did not have it. I put it in because I hate to see something that should have been there missing.

I would like to think that it really did reduce noise.

i brought mine (523) from eng soon at 170 buck before gst. dun think it really help in anyway except looks better (not naked) when u open the bonnetr. heeee.

IMHO quite useless add to the heat trap in the engine...
