Only "bad things" I see is the local prices probably the highest across our planet. Local retailers seems to be preventing many of us using such an excellent plug.

If you can buy it off on the web, by all means. We are here to provide A&P, installation, warranty, advice and the correct plugs for the users.

What do you mean by <<Local retailers seems to be preventing many of us using such an excellent plug>>?? Is it becoz of price? If it is, then why are there still people buying BMWs from PML, why not from the PIs all the time? Does PML's prices prevent people from buying cars from them?

Re: Brisk Premium LGS Worth a Try

Though I initially thought that Hilton was a vendor, I no longer think that he is a typical vendor. He knows too much, that's a sign of an enthusiast.

As a result I think his posts should not be deleted on the basis of `unauthorised advertising'. Disclosure of alternative sources is not unauthorised advertising in my opinion. I'm happy if it is, but in most other forums it is not treated as such. The authorised dealer or distributor, if he is a sponsor, only has `reason' and `value' to fight for his own market share since it is not a crime in Singapore to do parallel importation. In fact, some sponsors here thrive on parallel importation anyway.

Nothing wrong with grey importers but the least Hilton can be, is a site sponsor.

Re: Brisk Premium LGS Worth a Try

Well a grey vendor does not disclose alternative sources of supply.

Price disparity of LGS, local vs overseas, as compared to Denso Iridium at Mcwell and Waterloo clearly shows that our retailers are doing great harm of keeping such good plugs away from the masses in Singapore.

Such repeated remarks must have caused some unhappiness here, unfortunately.

Re: Brisk Premium LGS Worth a Try

I bought a set of the LGS from autobacs around 3 weeks ago. They are defintiely better compared to the NGK Idirium IX plugs I was using (bought them from the MKS Ubi (the same guy that sells Redline and Amsoil engine oil inside a warehouse).

I did read up alot about the volker plugs. They seems to be the same as the NGK Iridium Max which consists of a iridium tip and platinum ground. Check out the link below for the NGK plug.

the entire aftermarket automotive industry puzzles me. I think it is time for more transparency in this. The IT industry which I have personal knowledge is bloody wide open `no walls' transparent and it's thriving, thriving defined as you can see most of the major players being able to withstand multiple recessions.

The aftermarket automotive industry seems to me like the IT industry in 1985. 23 years behind. My god. The one thing they caught on is forum marketing though ....

Nobody discloses any source. That's business.

I think people like you Hilton is doing more harm by telling the false. The retailers are not keeping the good plugs away from the masses - get this right! Like I say over, over and over again, if you can get the LGS plugs cheaper else where, BY ALL MEANS! Wa lao ae, cannot understand my ang mo is it?

Your repeated remarks are irritating - YES. After that, we all have to tell you again over and over again.

The fast pace in IT has also made everything transparent if not how will Hilton knows that there are cheaper sources else where in the internet? Everthing rides on IT - isn't it not in the 21st Century?

Well then, can Hilton disclose some cheaper sources here on the forum?
