Where are my posts!??! They are missing? Who deleted?

Okay guys,

Another piece of bad news from me.

If you are wondering where the hell are your posts / threads that you have posted this morning, no i have not deleted them.

The server went down at around 11AM this morning.

1. Upon failure of accessing the site(11AM), i emailed the tech admins of the hosting company to notify them that the site went down.

2. One of the tech admin decides it's a good idea to load YESTERDAY'S (2nd Sept) backup onto the forum.

3. This morning's(3rd Sept) postings and threads are overwritten by YESTERDAY's backup.

4. Since they have not backed up TODAY's (3rd Sept) database, they have officially screwed me over by not able to provide a solution to bring back today's stuff.

On another note, the tech admin called me personally just now again to explain what was going on. He's damm apologetic about it and has prioritised our forums to be on a higher spec'd and ultra-reliable(yeah i know..yeah right) system.

Right now i'm just feeling

Update :

Found another server to host our site.

From my (very good)sources, it is extremely stable.

Please check back here for more updates.

Will be commencing shift soon.

Ryan, we all know that this is not your fault. Therefore, please do not feel that you are personally accountable to the rest to make sure that the servers are up and running 24/7. You already freely given a lot of your time and effort to do this and we cannot expect anymore from you. Cheers!
