the 335 is hardly a hardcore. Too distant in fact. It is almost purely a cruiser in stock form, along the lines of Lexus GS, Merc CLS. Comfortable beyond compare, and the forced induction helps the engine get torque at lower rpms, even lowering noise levels beyond the benchmark set by the GS during semi-enthusiastic driving.

Re: E46 M3 CSL or E82 1 Series Coupe???

Thanks for all the help guys, really appreciate it. But after psyching myself with videos of the 135i yesterday I'm kinda hooked, that is unless the test drive proves me wrong. But then again I'm still thinking of the problems I would face with a 2nd hand E46 M3 compared to the new 135i. Any advice from the gurus?

Regards.

I am considering a Golf Gti which is also FI. Is there the same issue. Anyone knows?

i did test drive the 335, imo, one sentence to describe fast and luxurious at this price, comfort level don lose out much to sedan.

Re: E46 M3 CSL or E82 1 Series Coupe???

my guess is the 335i cannot sustain high rpm for long cos of the FI... but shud be ok at NS crusing speeds unless ur caning it all the way....

Lol wouldn't do that if I drive a 335 sedan... too many sleepers ard.. esp civics with huge ass turbos.. I think if i were to compare the 335 and the 135 I'd most probably get the 135 cos its smaller, dun need the rear seats Thanks for the input though

Regards.

smaller would be good if much lighter, but the 135 is NOT much lighter.
