While the 4 Series family has been confirmed with the arrival of the 4 Series Coupe Concept, the rumored 2 Series has yet to be confirmed, until now. The 2 Series badge appeared in an memo sent to BMW dealerships, making reference to future 2 Series and 4 Series models.

The 2 Series models are rumored to be built on the F2x platform and is basically the new 1 Series Coupe moving up in class which allows BMW to sell it at a higher price, with a much sportier design and look than the 1 Series hatchback. It may feature redesigned headlights too.

Believe is the 1 series F2x headlights, not your E8x headlights. For the former, some find it nice and some find it ugly... maybe the other side of the planet has majority who dislike the headlights so BMW wants to redesign it
