MINI Cooper D named the most ‘Fun Green Car’ by What Car?

What Car?, a publication that holds an annual Green Awards, declared the MINI Cooper D as the most ‘Fun Green Car’ for the second year in a row. Thanks to sustainable technology and its 1.6 litre diesel engine, the MINI Cooper D emits just 99g/km of CO2 and achieves 74.3mpg without compromising its legendary ‘go-kart’ handling and overall driving experience. The vehicle features MINIMALISM technologies, Auto Start Stop, Brake Energy Regeneration and Shift Point Display among others.
According to Chas Hallett, Editor in Chief of What Car?: “The MINI Cooper D proves it is absolutely possible to minimise transport impact on the environment and still have a lot of fun behind the wheel. It’s exempt from road tax and congestion charges, which makes it a great commuter vehicle, and it’s equally at home on country lanes and motorways. For all-round appeal, it’s hard to beat a MINI.”Cheers,
