German magazine Auto Motor und Sport reports that the Lightweight BMW M3 Sedan announced last April 1 will be called BMW M3 GTS. Output is said to be limited to 440 horsepower. Thus, its performance is situated between the M3 Sedan and the M3 Coupe GTS.

Same with the coupe, the BMW GTS Sedan will feature a specially tuned DCT transmission with seven switching stages. Carbon Fibre material makes the car extremely lightweight. The same magazine reports that the vehicle will be officially presented at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show this September.
