The 2011 BMW X3 went on display at the 2010 LA Auto Show together with other BMW vehicles. This new X3 was unveiled last month in Paris and will go on sale this January 2011. It features a redesign that increases performance and takes the luxury into a whole new level.

The 2011 BMW X3 xDrive35i is powered by a new turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 “N55” engine combining direct fuel injection, twin-scroll turbo technology and Valvetronic. The N55 engine delivers a maximum output of 300 horsepower at 5,800 rpm, with peak torque of 300 lb-ft available all the way from 1,200–5,000 rpm. Redline is 7,000 rpm. The X3 xDrive35i accelerates from 0 to 60mph in just 5.5 seconds. Top speed is at 150mph, electronically limited.
