I took it thru 99 bend on the way home after collection and was surprised by the cornering speed.... The tire roar was subdued at speeds when they used to squeal before the mod. I wasn't going very fast, just a little over my usual and I know that road very well as i live a short distance off the foot of the bend. It does seem to keep the rubber planted on the tarmac more effectively. It's definitely $ well spent in my opinion

Hey Dave, thanks to you for the great pricing on those parts and Wee at BVO is certainly a good pair of hands I think i will have him install my performance side skirts when they arrive. PML is charging an arm and my left nut to paint and install the skirts. Mod virus is certainly in full bloom now that the flood gate is opened. Next up would be those bunch of performance parts. They are certainly taking a while to ship...it's killing me...

I ve done the M3 stuffs, and so does at least another 4 hiadees but all are 335i though not 135i.

All those M3 suspension link parts you read about E90 post.>> this mod really sharpens your car's handling. Those americans arereally good. I did the front suspension links first, and then about 2 weeks later I did the rears, so I had the benefit of feeling the difference as each is added. The front changes improves the car's handling by like 70%. You can feel it immediately afterthe change especially when you drive on S-roads. When the rear were added later on, the additional improvement felt was lesser, maybe increase say by another 10%. Overall your car will improve, not 100% like the M3 but I believe you get like 80% of the M3's handling. The car feels much tighter when u turn your steering and car points wherever your steering turns to.

In addition for coilovers, I was on KW V2 but recently changed to AST shocks and SWIFT springs. I believe I am still the first and only E92 in Singapore having this as I type now. I was told AST+SWIFT is quite close to MOTON(spelling?) in the coilover world. It also reduces unsprung.

I also run lightweight rims and tyres to further reduce unsprung. Tyres are 235F and 265R Michelin PS-2s and lightweight rims weighing like 8.8kg F and 9.3kg R.

I also reccomend you upgrade to Brembos or some BBK. Again lower unsprung.

As you can see by now I am an unsprung weight reduction whore ! I was determined to improve my car's handling so thats why I went all the way out to spend stupid $$ to reduce unsprung and improve handling but was well worth it.

Hey man, care to share some feedback on your AST setup? I read somewhere that coilovers with remote reservoir can give stock level comfort (or better) while providing superb handling with minimal roll. Sounds like perfection to me. Is there any truth to that?
