Got a weird question for you - are the ground clearances for the Cayman and Boxster any higher than a Z4? I may have to change my car, unless I decide to live with parking my car outside my new house! Damn slope to the porch is too steep.

Cayman & Boxster have a higher floor clearance.

You can come to my showroom at 356D Alexandra Road 2moro after 5pm & compare the 2 cars yourself.....kekeke

I have both the Cayman, Z4 2.5 Roadster & Z4 3.0si Coupe on display now.

If that is so I believe that the warranty claims work differently between PI cars and Authorized cars. Chief among the differences is the element of goodwill - goodwill goes a long way in any difficult warranty claim.

Re: Brand New Cars in Stock!!

We pay for the 'Goodwill'.........it'll cost use $3000 just to register our PI cars with local agents.

They just take the $ & say thks.......

So this Goodwill will be a Good one....not a lousy one.....

Re: Brand New Cars in Stock!!

BTW, I have an Idea....

Do you guys think slightly modded brand new cars will be good???

Like Brembo BBK, Coilovers, Exhaust, Swaybars, Rims.....all done for you when you collect your car??

We factor in all the mods cost and make it into the total amount of the selling price.

So you don't have to come out full cash for mod parts after you buy a new car.....

kekekeke, just a thot......

Wilman, more power to you. Especially for a niche cars which you bring in, you have a potential to add to the variants of models available and that's a good thing. With you guys and the people in the similar trade, Singapore has so much variation on the roads. (except for the fact that you bring in tippys, which is exactly the same thing as the authorized distro, and that is more canniballization of the market than expansion. if you bring in manuals, might be you'd be pleasantly surprised to fight on different ground rather than compete on price alone)

The `pay for the goodwill' package needs a close look actually. You may be paying for nothing - merely (paraphrased) a registration of the fact that a certain Porsche released in another country now has a new home.

I used to read these documents for a living. If you want some small opinion on what it actually does, you might want to scan your version of the document and email to me via this account:
caysman@gmail.com - and i'll comment if i can. Privately.
