Got this as grand lucky draw prize in a Mercedes event.

Yes, its a Mercedes Benz Bike with very high end parts/ quality finishing. Sold at Mercedes Collection Shops for about $4,500. Great finishing with aluminium frame, shock absorbers, disc brakes, full Shimano gears, Michellin tyres.

As I am not a bike fan, will prefer to sell it away. Any reasonable offers will be considered.

bike comes with XT parts. basically real mountain bikers will not buy a merc bike. its simply overpriced. its just like buying a car say...made by apple inc.

nevertheless those parts r worth something...XT parts alone r worth about 1k with the disc brakes brand new. that suspension fork is probably about 400....frame perhaps 600-1000.

try asking for 2.5k....another option is to put in on consignment in a bike shop. i can help u if u need. pm me. i only charge ice milo.

I have a friend who is in bike business and intend to ask him to find a appropriate shop and consign the sale to them. Yes, more than happy to get $2.5K for the bike afterall its won in a lucky draw.

Yup, in the Shimano hierarchy, it's just one below XTR, which is the top dog.

Of course the world is not ruled by Shimano and they are many specialist bike parts manufaccturers out there too.

I would say that serious cyclists would not buy this bike and it's best to sell it to someone who is not one. Toto hit it right on the spot. It's like buying a car made by Apple.

Maybe you can post it in a Merc forum and a Merc enthusiast might buy one to match one of his cars...
