Re: FS: Z4 3.0i Front Brake Kit and Rear Rotors

thanks pak. yes, definitely an attractive / cost effective upgrade for e46 owners who are not willing to spend $3000-$4000 on stoptech or $5000-$6000 on brembo (front kit).

Re: FS: Z4 3.0i Front Brake Kit and Rear Rotors

only the front kit is a direct bolt on for e46. the rear rotors won't fit your ride.

hey, you supercharged mona (ur avatar)....lol

Re: FS: Z4 3.0i Front Brake Kit and Rear Rotors

His rear brakes has StopTech slotted rotors already. That's quite a good upgrade already.

Re: FS: Z4 3.0i Front Brake Kit and Rear Rotors

louis attempting a mind read, i c.

actually ap racing's m3 rear calipers will fit my ride with modified brackets. st powered said one. was quoted a superb deal for ap 6-pot front and rear kits (ap's m3 modded calipers + upgraded rotors + steel hoses for the rear). but impatient lah. stoptech came in 1 week plus with ups international priority. ap takes at least 4 weeks.

so u see the recurring theme - buy rims must fast (else took progressive me, 6 weeks ah), buy brakes must fast (else took ap, 4 weeks), buy tires must fast (else took ps2 but justin of poh heng quoted me 30 minutes late), paint car must fast (lim yew boo said 3 weeks). u name it. the list goes on. i am a farking impatient man. bang, bang, bang, done. else, vendors know where the door is.

back on brakes - no point fooling around with rear calipers when stoptech have already determined the optimum front / rear brake bias. rears are now on st slotted rotors, 4 st steel lines inner and outer, modded by ah wee, and axxis ultimate.

tonite a bit prolific with posts. mebbe after pent up day at work. chill
