If there is a "Telephone" does it show you a "Please wait" with a click icon on the right when you first startup your car? Or does it say "Telephone unit not found, please contact your BMW dealer" or something to that effect?

Keen, thanks. At least we got it to a stage where on the Telephone menu. It says "Please wait" before finally saying Telephone unit not found.
