PML Regular Servicing for new BMW

Hi,

Currently considering trading in my old car for a new conti and hence doing some homework on BMW.

Bumped into BMW website and realise that they offer 3yr/100km (or 90km) warrantly. However, apparently, the regular service (eg, 10km interval for Jap car) doesn't come free of charge. Is my understanding correct? One seems to have to buy a 3yr/90km "Service Inclusive" plan at abut $4k. Is this a must to sign up with this maintainence package with PML for regular servicing?

Also, what does this package offer in terms of say, frequency of free servicing? Heard that it is 25km as compared to 10km.

Appreciate current BM owners to share there experience and view as to whether it is a must to sign up with this package (so have to factor in as a cost of owning) and whether they think this package is good enough as far as the regular servicing need is required for owning a new BM.

On their website, there is alos this "Interval Based Service Package" in addition to the "Service Inclusive" package. It seems confusing far as regular servicing is concerned. What is the difference between them and is signing up both equals to having a comprehensive service package for a new BM like those free regular ones that come with other brands.

Please enlighten
