raising tax is not the big issue.
USING TAX GARNERED FROM DRIVERS TO SUBSIDIZE PUBLIC TRANSPORT - that, my dear gentlemen, is the true evil. It is stealing from the drivers and giving them to the non-drivers.
This form of wealth distribution is despicable. I thought it died when communism died. It is rearing its head again, under the guise of transport.
