Steam coming out from the front grill emblem
Just got my facelift 523 a week old. This morning during the heavy downpour, I noticed a lot of steam or white smoke?? coming out from the bonnet at the front emblem grilling. I recalled going over a pool of water splashing quite high, few mins before I reached the office and parked my car. Then I noticed the steam emerging right at the front center(emblem area).....
I parked my car and it lasted about 10 mins.. What a view!
When I opened the bonnet, there was no smoke/steam. All the steams appeared from the front BMW grilling
Apparently I was told that water must have touched the hot metal parts through the opening at the BMW emblem, thus releasing a lot of steam... I peeped into the grill and did see a parts like radiator or heat sink??? Not sure what are those...
Any of you guys have this experience? Is this common? Huh..
