California based tuner, Vorsteiner, has created their own interpretation of an E92 M3. With emphasis on the visual aspects, Vorsteiner has created a body kit which consists of a dry carbon fiber front add-on spoiler, rear diffuser with 3 integrated aero fins and a new replacement boot lid with a built in lip spoiler.

Topgear.com has uncovered what could have been almost 20 years ago (19 to be exact). Instead, the big bosses at BMW decided that an M5 drop-top would eat into sales of 3-Series convertibles, and promptly dropped the project and hid it from view.
That left this poor little prototype all by itself.
