Bimmertoday reports that BMW will finally offer the 335d xDrive models on the F30 and F31 platforms and they will go on sale a few months from now. The same report says that the BMW 335d xDrive will be available with a twin-turbo diesel engine and will deliver 300 horsepower. Following this release would be the F31 335d xDrive Touring.
BMW will offer the twin-turbo six-cylinder engine in the 3 Series F30 exclusively with the xDrive, but only all-wheel drive variants are available with eight-speed ZF automatic transmission as standard because BMW is expecting to have higher demand for this variant. Standard consumption is under six liters per 100 kilometers. 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 5.5 seconds.
